(Robinson) – A Robinson man is dead following a two-vehicle accident on Route 1 Monday. According to the Illinois State Police, seventy-six-year-old James Love was pronounced dead at the scene following a collision with sixty-year-old Lesa Crouse of Robinson. The accident occurred on Route 1 Monday afternoon around 3:45 pm when for unknown reason Love crossed the center line and struck Crouse, causing Love’s vehicle to roll over off the roadway. Crouse was uninjured. Her passenger twenty-seven-year-old Blake Hale of Robinson was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
