Statewide Average Gas Price Falls Slightly

(Undated) – The national average price at the pump remains unchanged at $5.03 a gallon. However, the statewide average here in Illinois did see a slight dip overnight. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the statewide average is down three cents from yesterday to $5.57 a gallon, which is still $2.29 a gallon more than a year ago. The statewide average in Indiana saw a two-cent decline falling to $5.19 a gallon, $2.15 higher than a year ago. Georgia continues to have the cheapest gas in the nation with a statewide average of $4.48 a gallon. It’s $6.43 in California.
