Gas Prices Continue to Decline

(Undated) – Gas prices continue to fall ahead of the July 4th weekend. According to GasBuddy.com, the national average has fallen to $4.85 a gallon. That is still twenty-three cents higher than a month ago. However, it is down eighteen cents from the all-time high of $5.03. The statewide average here in Illinois has fallen to $5.40 a gallon. It’s $4.94 in Indiana. South Carolina has the cheapest gas for the holiday weekend at $4.33 a gallon. California drivers continue to suffer the most expensive gas prices in the nation at $6.28 a gallon.
