(Undated) – Parents should soon have one less thing to worry about. One of the nation’s biggest baby formula manufacturers says it has reopened its plant in southern Michigan. Abbott announced over the weekend that its Abbott Nutrition plant reopened on July 1st and started producing its specialty baby formula. The company shut down the plant in Sturgis, Michigan, and recalled baby formula products in February after bacterial contamination made several babies sick, two of which died. The plant reopened on June 4th but closed nine days later when flooding hit.
