(Undated) – Gas prices have fallen for the seventh week in a row. According to GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis, Patrick De Haan, the outlook is for a continued drop in most areas. However, some supply tightness in areas of the Northeastern U.S. could push prices up slightly until inventories or imports rise. He says, for now, Americans are seeing prices nearly ninety cents lower than their mid-June peak and as long as oil prices hold at current levels or lower, we’ll see another decline in most areas this week. The current national average has fallen to $4.17 a gallon. The statewide average is $4.59 in Illinois. It’s $4.13 in Indiana.
