(Undated) — The work week is ending with another drop in gas prices. According to GasBuddy.com, the current national average has fallen to $3.96 a gallon. That marks a sixteen-cent drop from a week ago and is down $1.07 from the June peak. The statewide average here in Illinois has fallen to $4.30 a gallon. It’s $3.88 in Indiana. Texas has the cheapest statewide average at $3.44 a gallon. It’s $5.34 in California.
