(Palestine) – The Palestine Police Department is issuing the annual reminder ahead of Labor Day Weekend. Palestine Police Chief, Jeff Besing, is reminding the public there will be an unusual increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic within the village beginning tomorrow as the campers and rodeo livestock comes to town. The weekend also brings yard sale shoppers, so there will be a lot of “stop and go” traffic, golf carts, and side-by-sides. Drivers are reminded to pay close attention to their surroundings, their speed, and to avoid distracted driving.
