Gas Prices Continue to Fall in Illinois and Indiana

(Undated) – The national average price of gas remains unchanged. However, prices in Illinois and Indiana have continued to fall. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen four cents to $3.95 a gallon. It’s $3.74 in Indiana. According to GasBuddy, Head of Petroleum Analysis, Patrick De Haan, refinery issues in California are leading to drastically different price behaviors from coast to coast. The current national average is hovering around $3.69 a gallon. California drivers are currently paying $5.41 a gallon. Mississippi is the “low price leader” with a statewide average of just $3.11 a gallon.
