RPD Releases Thanksgiving Patrol Numbers

(Robinson) – The Robinson Police Department has released Thanksgiving enforcement numbers. According to Robinson Police Chief, Chad Weaver, during stepped up holiday patrols November 18th – 28th, officers issued one seat belt citation, seven speeding citations, made one DUI arrest, two felony arrests, four drug arrests, apprehended one fugitive, handled one suspended/revoked license, and three uninsured motorists. Weaver says his officers patrol year-round to keep motorists buckled up and impaired drivers off the roads. The Thanksgiving enforcement was made possible by federal traffic safety funds administered by IDOT.
