(Oblong) – A New Year’s Eve traffic stop led to the arrest of an Oblong woman on multiple charges. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, on December 31st at 11:55 pm, officers arrested twenty-six-year-old Chastity Montgomery. She was arrested on charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Firearm Ammunition by a Narcotics User, Unlawful Possession of Adult Use Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle, and Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. She was also cited for Expired Registration. Montgomery was also arrested on a Failure to Appear warrant out of Richland County on previous meth-related charges.
