Indiana University to be the Home of John Mellencamp Archives

(Undated) – Indiana University will be the new home of John Mellencamp’s archives. The university made the announcement Friday during a “Mellencamp Symposium” that was being held on campus. The school’s president announced that they will commission a sculpture of the Indiana rocker. The school will also be receiving an archived collection of items about Mellencamp’s life and music including works of art he has created through the years which will be used as inspiration for students pursuing a career in entertainment. Mellencamp opened his current tour on the campus at Bloomington.
