(Oblong) – Republic customers in Oblong will have the chance to get rid of some extra trash later this month. According to Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, Republic Service will hold their “Spring Clean-Up” in Oblong, on March 28th. This is available for paid-up Republic customers living inside the Village limits. Some items will not be picked and there are a handful of items that will be accepted but require some special prep work on the customer’s part. If you have some electric items to get rid of, B & H Recycling will be in Palestine from 9 am until noon on Saturday, March 25, 2023, for an electronic disposal event. The City of Robinson will host yard waste Spring Clean-Up April 24th-25th. Republic Spring Clean-Up in Robinson will run May 1st-5th.
