Motorist Could See “Dramatic Ride” in Gas Prices

(Undated) – The recent dip in gas prices is likely to be short-lived. According to GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis, Patrick De Haan, while more states saw declines than increases last week, any downward trends are likely to be temporary. De Haan says while Colorado’s refinery issues are largely moving into the rearview mirror, challenges making the transition to summer gasoline in Arizona are leading to tight supply and accelerating prices. He says motorists in some areas may be on the receiving end of good news, while others may not as we hit the second half of refinery maintenance season. De Haan believes motorists could be in for a “dramatic ride.”
