(Undated) – Voters will head to the polls a week from today for the 2023 Consolidated Election. The Consolidated Election is your chance to cast a ballot for school board members, aldermen, trustees for various offices, and Mayor. The Consolidated Election will see Robinson get a new Mayor. Mike Shimer is running unopposed for the position. John Birkofer is currently serving as “Mayor Pro Tem” for the City of Robinson following the resignation of former Mayor, Roger Pethtel, in May of 2022. Pethtel narrowly defeated Shimer in the 2021 Consolidated Election, winning by just three votes.
