(Undated) – A portion of Route 1 and Route 33 will be closed for storm clean-up this week. According to the Crawford County Emergency Management Agency, the Illinois Department of Transportation will have Route 1 from just south of Gordon Junction to 900 N closed from roughly 7 am – 7 pm each day, today through Wednesday. IDOT will then have a portion of Route 33 closed from Route 1 to 1750 E, next to the ethanol plant closed Wednesday and Thursday for clean-up. Motorists are again advised to not drive around barricades, IDOT, or EMA vehicles and to find alternate routes.
