Nearly 100 Pounds of Medication Taken In During “Drug Take Back”

(Undated) – Local authorities took in nearly one hundred pounds of unwanted medication during the recent “Drug Take Back” event. According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy, Casey Catt, helped to collect and destroy ninety-three pounds of unneeded, unwanted, and expired medication. The “Drug Take Back” was sponsored by Crawford Memorial Hospital and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and is part of the national “Drug Take Back,” which aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
