Single Vehicle Accident Leads to Charges for Robinson Man

(Undated) – An investigation into a single-vehicle accident led to a handful of charges for a Robinson man. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, on April 29th deputies responded to an accident in Oblong Township. Reports indicate that twenty-one-year-old Elyjiah Parker failed to stop at the intersection of 400N and 200E striking a ditch and then a metal culvert, causing the car to flip onto its side. Following the investigation, Parker was arrested for DUI – Alcohol, Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Wear a Seat Belt, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, and Resisting a Peace Officer. He was booked into the Crawford County Jail before posting bail and being given a court date.
