Gas Prices Continue to Climb Higher

(Undated) – The price of a gallon of regular unleaded here in Illinois is pushing four dollars heading into the holiday weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current statewide average is $3.96 a gallon. That marks a three-cent increase from yesterday. Gas prices nationwide continue to increase as the Memorial Day weekend approaches. The national average is $3.56, up just a penny from yesterday. In Indiana, the statewide average has climbed to $3.62 a gallon, a nickel jump from yesterday.
