(Palestine) – A Palestine man was arrested yesterday following numerous calls to 911. According to Palestine Police Chief, Jeff Besing, he arrested Sheldon Franklin for making “repeated” 911 emergency calls to the Crawford County Central Dispatch when no emergency existed. Franklin was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, a Class 4 Felony for abusing the 911 emergency call line. Franklin was booked into the Crawford County Jail.
