Dry Weather Could Become a Problem

weather-2
(Undated) – The current forecast lists a chance of “scattered showers” through this afternoon and evening. However, Freese-Notis Weather Meteorologist, Dan Hicks, says the chance of “significant” rainfall is low.
Hicks says following a dry May, the “soil profile” for much of Illinois is running “below normal” and the lack of precipitation in the extended forecast is going to increase the need for rain and the dry conditions may become “more critical.”
