(Undated) – We could be on the verge of cheaper gas nationwide. In the fall, gas stations switch to cheaper “winter fuel” and that lowers prices for consumers at the pump. According to GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis, Patrick De Haan, that could lead to prices below three dollars.
The current national average for a gallon regular unleaded is $3.52. Diesel is currently hovering around $3.81 a gallon.
