Wet and Stormy Weather Forecast for the Weekend

(Undated) — Cleanup continues after severe storms hit northern Illinois last night. The National Weather Service says multiple tornadoes touched down in the Chicago area, including one near O’Hare Airport which briefly grounded all flights at O’Hare and Midway. While we are not expected, at this point, to get hit with severe weather we are likely to see showers and thunderstorms through the weekend. The latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook,” says a few widely scattered thunderstorms may linger throughout the day today and there will be daily chances for additional storms tomorrow through early next week. The National Weather Service says at this time, the severe weather threat remains uncertain.
