(Undated) – It looks to be another day of triple-digit “feels like” temperatures. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, afternoon heat indices will peak near 110 today. The hot weather will continue through the weekend as well. They say afternoon heat indices will peak near 105 degrees tomorrow. An “Excessive Heat Warning” remains in effect until 9 pm this evening. A “Heat Advisory” remains in effect until 7 pm Saturday. Hot and humid weather could return by the middle of next week, with the potential for heat indices in the triple digits. Crawford County EMA is working on compiling a list of “cooling centers.” Stay tuned for the latest information.
