(Undated) – Gas prices are starting to decline but remain high across the country. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.81 a gallon, down two cents from Friday but thirty-one cents higher than a month ago. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is hovering around $4.04 a gallon, down a penny from Friday but seventeen cents higher than last month. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.78 a gallon, a penny higher than Friday and forty-three cents higher than a month ago.
