Eastern Illinois Foodbank is Making Stops in the Area

(Undated) – The Eastern Illinois Foodbank will be in the area today. The Eastern Illinois Foodbank is the primary food source for food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and other programs working to feed those facing hunger. According to the “Feeding America Map the Meal Gap” Crawford County has a “food insecurity” rate of 9.3 %. The Foodbank will begin the day in Newton at 9 am with stops in Willow Hill, Oblong, Robinson and Palestine before wrapping up the day in Hutsonville at 2 pm. Find the full schedule below.

Willow Hill-The Edge (105 Cumberland) 10:00-10:30am

Oblong-Bertram Building (202 E. Main) 11:00-11:30am

Robinson Food Pantry (602 E. Main) 12:00-12:30pm

Palestine Food Pantry (500 W. Porter) 1:00-1:30pm

Hutsonville: 100 S. Main (across from coffee shop) 2:00-2:30pm
