(Undated) – A wet August is helping to ease drought concerns statewide. National Weather Service Meteorologist, John Bumgardner, says so far, August has outpaced its precipitation totals for up to this point in the month.
Here at the Classic Hits, WTYE, studio, we have recorded just over three inches to date. However, the National Weather Service says the rest of August is showing a slight trend for below-normal precipitation and good chances for above-normal temperatures.
