(Undated) – The countdown is underway to the next big event in Crawford County. The annual Labor Day festival in Palestine is a little more than a week away. Rodeo events get underway on Friday, September 1st with the first night of PRCA Rodeo action. Events continue through the Labor Day Weekend with the “Main Street Market Madness” in downtown Palestine Saturday and Sunday. The annual “Chuckwagon Breakfast” will be held Saturday morning September 2nd at 7 am. Rodeo performances will also be held Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7 pm. Monday will feature one of the largest parades in the area. The Palestine Labor Day Parade will step off at 10 am on Labor Day, September 4th.
