(Robinson) – The RHS Varsity Tennis Team blanked Newton last night finishing 9-0. Head Coach, Steve Jenkins, says all of the girls played very well. He says in singles play Lindsey Hevron’s serves were consistently hitting the outside corner of the service box and were very difficult to return. He also says Hannah Hevron and Anna Hargrave’s shot location was outstanding. The RHS Lady Maroons will next be in action tomorrow at home against Effingham St. Anthony. Jenkins says St. Anthony has one of the top teams in the region so they are hoping to have the community come out and support the team while watching some really good tennis. The first match is set to begin at 4:30 pm.
