(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has dropped slightly. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is hovering around $3.77 a gallon, down three cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is four dollars a gallon, down a nickel from Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, the price per gallon is $3.62, down three cents. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest price at $3.27 a gallon. It’s highest in California at $5.29 a gallon.
