(Undated) — COVID-19 infections are on the rise as the country heads into fall. According to data from the CDC, hospitalizations and deaths have been increasing and the virus is being detected more frequently in wastewater samples. They say it’s hard to track exact numbers as states are no longer required to report numbers to the CDC. However, the numbers they do have show a sixteen percent increase in infections in the week ending August 26th. The CDC says that here in Crawford County there were two admitted over the same period, which is fifty percent lower than the previous week.
