(Undated) – The Red Cross continues to “sound the alarm” about the nationwide blood donation shortage. Brain Williamson with the Central Illinois Chapter of the Red Cross says with the United States facing major natural disasters in Hawaii and Florida, the American Red Cross is experiencing a national blood shortage and now is a great time to roll up your sleeve.
Locally your next chance to give is coming up Wednesday the 20th. The Red Cross will be at Palestine High School from 2 pm-6 pm. Learn more at redcrossblood.org.
