Three Area Men Sentenced on Meth Charges

(Undated) – A trio of area men have been sentenced to time behind bars on meth-related charges. According to Crawford County State’s Attorney, Cole Shaner, on September 13th, Darrell Vennard of Lawrenceville was sentenced to a decade in the IDOC on a Class 1 Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. On September 18th, Thomas Wilson of West York was sentenced to four years on a Class 4 Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. September 20th, Joey Rogers of Sumner was sentenced to nine years in the IDOC on a Class 1 Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Deliver. Additionally, Rogers was sentenced to three years regarding the charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. The sentences will run concurrently. The Robinson Police Department assisted in the prosecution of all three cases.
