(Undated) — A Lincoln Trail College alumnus who wrote a book is returning to the college for a book signing next month. Kim Cox is a fifth-generation native of Crawford County, a graduate of Robinson High School, Lincoln Trail College, and the University of Illinois. The book, “I Remain, As Ever, Your Kinsman” is compiled of letters from Cox’s ancestors regarding their participation in the California Gold Rush and the Civil War. The book signing will be held on October 4th from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Eagleton Library. The public is encouraged to attend.
