RHS Soccer Team Picks Up First Ever Regional Win

(Robinson) – The RHS Soccer Team picked up a 4-2 win over St. Anthony in overtime Regional action yesterday. Head Coach, Hilary Maxwell, says she knew the game could go either way and the kids “pushed it to the limit.” The two teams were tied 2 all at the end of regulation. That score would not change through the first ten minutes of overtime. Maxwell says three minutes into the second overtime period, with the assist from Owen Schmidt, Quinton Tuttle scored putting the Maroons up by one. With just a minute left on the clock, Hayden Bonnell provided the assist to Schmidt for the final goal. Yesterday’s win marks the first Regional win in RHS Soccer history. They will be back in Regional action Friday against Hillsboro.
