(Oblong) – The Oblong Varsity Volleyball Team finished 8th out of 12 teams in the Edwards County Invitational Saturday. Head Coach, Pam Johnson, says the girls need to learn to handle the pressure while playing better teams. She says this tournament helps to teach the girls just that and gets them one step closer to being prepared for the Regional Tournament. Layla Krick picked up nine aces, nineteen kills, and twenty-six digs. Macy Krick finished with five aces, twenty-three kills, and twenty-seven digs on the day.
