Sheriff Rutan Says Lookout for Squatters and Trespassers

(Undated) – Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, is reminding the public to check their property daily for trespassers. According to Rutan, the county has recently experienced issues with squatters and trespassers. Rutan says it is important for the public to check campers, RVs, barns, shops, sheds, detached garages, cabins, vacant properties, and any uninhabited areas that you own. He says if you should come across unwanted individuals, call 911 and have law enforcement assist you, do not approach any perpetrators.
