(Undated) – Despite a drop in gas prices elsewhere, the price per gallon in Illinois is up from Friday. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average has fallen four cents from Friday to $3.51 a gallon. In Indiana, the statewide average has fallen two cents to $3.24 a gallon. However, here in Illinois, the statewide average jumped a nickel over the weekend to an average of $3.61 a gallon. Georgia has the lowest prices in the nation with a statewide average of $2.97. In California, the statewide average is $5.42 a gallon.
