(Effingham) – An Effingham man is behind bars on child porn charges. Illinois Attorney General, Kwame Raoul’s, office is charging Dallas Campbell with possessing and disseminating child pornography. Investigators from the AG’s office, along with the Effingham Police Department, searched Campbell’s home last Thursday and arrested him due to evidence of child pornography on his electronic device. Effingham Chief of Police, Jason McFarland, says the Effingham Police Department is committed to public safety and will continue to work hand in hand with state and federal partners to safeguard the community. Campbell is being held at the Effingham County Jail.
