(Undated) – If you feel like you are spending more on gas this year, you are not alone. According to a recent GasBuddy survey, 78% of people feel like they’re spending more money on gas this year than last year, though prices at the pump have been on average about 6% lower. According to the study, most Americans fill up their tank twice per week, with an additional 60% filling up between 3-4 times per week. The study also says, that despite rising security concerns and increasing credit-free options, the leading payment method is by credit card. Nearly all respondents, about 92%, reported shopping around for the best price before filling up.
