(Robinson) – The RHS Girls Cross Country Team finished third in the Decatur Sectional Saturday and will advance to the State final meet this coming Saturday at Detweiller Park in Peoria. Head Coach, Tony Cork, says the Maroons were led by Quinn Wesley’s 8th place finish. Katelyn Jones was 33rd, Sophie Stark finished 35th, Terryn Loftis came in 43rd, and Ella Tingley finished 60th. Austin Wesley was 6th in the boy’s race and will advance to State as an individual. Cork says the boy’s team was ranked 18th but ran their best race of the season and finished 9th. He says five of the boys recorded their personal best times of the year. The girls will run at 9 a.m. Saturday and Austin Wesley runs at 10 a.m.
