(Undated) – Despite two ongoing wars in the Middle East, gas prices continue to fall. GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis, Patrick De Haan, says what we are seeing right now is “simply seasonal.”
De Haan says if Iran, which is a supporter of Hamas, gets more involved we could see a negative impact on the price of oil since the Middle East is home to more than half of all crude oil reserves. The current national average for gas is $3.43 a gallon, thirty-two cents lower than a year ago.
