(Palestine) – A “legacy” brand in Crawford County is expected to be back on store shelves in time for the holidays. In September, new owners of the J.D. Mullin Company, Penny and David Shaw, temporarily ceased operation to remodel the building and production facility. Penny Shaw says while there have been some delays they are hopeful to be back in operation by Thanksgiving.
Shaw says the purchase and remodel of J.D. Mullin is being done to ensure the Crawford County “staple” will be around for at least another 75 years. She says they are also working on the addition of a museum to the facility.
