(Undated) – As a result of the growing drought conditions, Crawford County Authorities have issued a burn ban. Authorities say the ban does not include “outside food preparation.” The ban will remain in effect until further notice. Here at the Classic Hits studio, our last measurable rainfall was on October 30th. However, our last significant rainfall was on August 27th when we recorded nearly three inches. We recorded less than an inch total in September, just over two inches total in October, and we have yet to see any “measurable rainfall” in November. WTYE continues to be an official weather recording and reporting station for the National Weather Service.
