(Undated) – We could see a break in the drought conditions that have prompted several area burn bans. According to this morning’s forecast from the National Weather Service, we could see rain move into the area late Thursday night into early Friday. However, they have not released a rainfall total forecast. Here at the Classic Hits, WTYE, studio, we have not seen a “measurable” amount of rain since October 30th. Burn bans remain in effect for Crawford, Lawrence, Jasper, and Richland Counties in Illinois and Sullivan, Vigo, Knox, Clay, Greene, Martin, Davis and Monroe in Indiana.
