(Undated) – The national average price of gas has fallen from Monday. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.33 a gallon, down a penny. The statewide average for Illinois has fallen two cents from Monday to $3.50 a gallon. In Indiana, the statewide average is $3.30 a gallon, down eight cents. Ten states have prices below three dollars a gallon, with Mississippi being the lowest with a statewide average of $2.77 a gallon. Despite the statewide average dropping below $5, California drivers are still paying the most with a statewide average of $4.99 a gallon.
