(Undated) – The 2024 “election cycle” begins today in Illinois. Candidates can start filing nomination papers with county and state election authorities. Crawford County Clerk, Beckie Staley, says local offices up for election include County Board seats in all five districts, Precinct Committee Persons in all precincts, Circuit Clerk, State’s Attorney, and Coroner. Presidential, congressional, and state legislature races will also be on the ballot. Staley reminds voters that the General Primary will be held March 19th and the General Election will be November 5th. Completed Petitions can be filed at the County Clerk’s office through December 4th, 2023.
