(Undated) — Illinois’ seven-day firearm deer season concludes this weekend. State Officials are releasing preliminary totals for the first weekend of the Illinois firearm deer hunting season between November 17th and 19th. They say hunters in Illinois harvested fifty-three-thousand-three-hundred-thirty-eight deer. That is slightly less than the same period last year. The IDNR is reminding hunters to once again double-check their tree stands. The second weekend of the firearm deer season runs tomorrow through Sunday.
