(Oblong) – Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, is reminding families in need that the Oblong Volunteer Firefighters Association 2023 “Christmas for Kids Program” is now accepting applications. Fielder says eligibility is for children ages 2-12, living inside the Oblong School District. Those students attending Oblong Schools who live in Prairie or Licking Township may be signed up through the Prairie-Licking Fire Department. She says applications are available inside the front lobby of the Oblong Municipal Building. Applications will be accepted through Wednesday, December 13th and deliveries will be made on Saturday, December 16th.
