(Undated) – A replacement for the retiring Mark Shaner has been announced. The Second Judicial Circuit has announced that the Circuit Judges have selected Denton Aud of White County to be the next Associate Judge. In October, Associate Judge, Mark Shaner, announced his intention to retire effective December 15th. Before serving as an associate judge, Shaner was Crawford County State’s Attorney, a position now held by his son Cole Shaner. The Second Circuit includes Lawrence, Richland, Wayne, Jefferson, Hardin, Hamilton, Gallatin, Franklin, Crawford, and Edwards County. Denton Aud, currently serves as the White County State’s Attorney, a position he has held for the past eleven years.
