(Robinson) – The RHS Lady Maroons came up short in a hard-fought 47-42 loss to Newton last night. Elizabeth Shea led the Lady Maroons offense with sixteen points. Marisa Zane added thirteen and Alexia Zane chipped in eight in the loss. With the loss, the girls fell to 8-2 overall and 2-1 in the LIC. They will be back in action Monday for another conference tilt when they host Mt. Carmel. The RHS Boys are back on the hardwood tonight when they host Casey-Westfield.
